Doesn’t update older phones

I received my FIXD OBD2 Scanner and used it right immediately out of the box. My engine light came on that day and I plugged it in and hooked up to my phone(that easy).FIXD gave me the codes I needed to diagnose and repair my car myself Thank you FIXD!!

This app and the scanner used to be all you needed to find out why your check engine light was on, now it’s turned into more subscription based slop like everything else has now. Don’t waste your money on a tool that doesn’t hardly do anything for you without giving them more money. If I could, I’d give a rating of 0 stars. Do better FIXD, I know you can.

If it wasn’t for FIXD I would not have found out that I had a broken spring in the front suspension.

I was blown away with this whole experience. The app is so easy to use, fun to navigate, and allows you to look at so many different components about your vehicle. Also impressed by how much I can access without purchasing a subscription, but i am anyways because it’s so worth it!

Fast, easy and reliable. Takes the guess work out of what is wrong. Love it.

Just wanted to share a quick review of the Fixd car diagnostic tool. The device works really well and the app is super easy to use. Someone gave this to me that had it since the early 2000’s and I almost laughed because it was so old but was very pleasantly surprised when I plugged it in to a 2019 GMC Acadia and it worked its magic. I was able to read the codes easily and it also gave explanations as to what they were. I am now going to get the premium version which provides so much more information. I definitely recommend this device.

Tool works really well it is able to pull more than just engine codes. They can check transmission codes. ABS codes is a really great tool to have. It is very affordable. Lots of options. It’ll help you find a garage nearby if you need help.

I already had a regular scanner but it didn’t pick up more advanced codes or codes specific to the make of the car. Fixd found transmission codes so I got my transmission fluid changed and now my car is running better. The mechanic said if I hadn’t come in soon my transmission would’ve died, so Fixd saved me thousands.
