    Compared to a dedicated motorcycle GPS this software is expensive junk. CarPlay implementation is pathetic. Routing is dangerously wrong and stupid.

    Record rides with ease. And save em and share them. Very easy on that end. Planning a ride is like other apps once you know how to use the app. It’s a great tool to use!

    Recently bought the pro version since there aren’t great rides in my area, and I wanted to use the twisty road feature. Created some rides, and decided to try one out. Literally one deviation off of the path, and an incessant beeping for rerouting begins. Even when I got myself back on track (it won’t give you directions back to the route, just beeps at you CONSTANTLY), it wouldn’t accept where I got back on the route and insisted that I do a U-turn to pick up *exactly* where I left off. The turn by turn directions are okay, but it doesn’t tell you how long until you’re supposed to turn - and also told me to turn multiple times after I had already completed the turn. I eventually gave up after having to stop 4 times on my ride to recreate it for it to stop beeping at me, and turned it off. Proceeded to just get lost on my own and had a much better time. Would not recommend the ride creation feature.

    I started using this app in July 2018 on the free version with great pleasure. This year I upgraded to the PRO version (BTW, today they have 50% off) I really recommend to get the PRO version, it has a lot of advantages. REVER its a great App, in my opinion it’s a “MUST HAVE” Ride safe!!!

  • Shows promise but really just a toy

    A group of us tried to use this on an 11 day cross USA trip after subscribing and familiarizing ourselves with it for a few weeks before the trip. We gave up on it just 3 days into the trip. We had 2 iPhone users and 2 android users. Our assessment was this is not yet ready to be relied on for a serious big trip. It may be ok for an afternoon jaunt. We reverted back to using some old Garmin Zumo GPS devices which were far superior and more reliable. 3 of us did the special $20 annual Pro subscription. 1 was still on the 7 day trial. We all cancelled. Even at $20, it wasn’t useful enough to subscribe. Pros - during planning some very nice roads were found using Butler Maps - the idea of crowd sourcing routes - ability to import GPX route files generated by another app - recording a ride, while clunky, provides a nice record of where you’ve e been Cons - portrait mode only on a phone. No landscape support. No tablet support. - offline just plain doesn’t work. You must be online to actually load a route. In mountains where there is no mobile coverage, you can not load or start over with a different route. - really clunky UI. None of our group liked it and found the overall model confusing - the run time model of either follow the blue line OR get turn by turn directions shows the immaturity of the app. Basically a lousy trade off. Every other app I’ve ever used has both all the time. - no on the fly recalculation of a route. It seems the input route is sacrosanct. - the blue line route generally does not align with the map data - it was often hard to see the blue line route as it would appear to be occluded by map data

    I keep getting recommended rides that are over 1000 miles away or on the other half of the globe. And almost everything is behind a paywall. If you don’t pay, you can’t navigate. You can record your ride and share it afterwards, but if you don’t know where you’re going, this app is useless. Calimoto is so much better for navigating and picking a slower twisty route, or the fastest route via highways. I thought Revzilla would make a better riding app for the community but it seems like this is just another way for them to make money. Disappointed to say the least
