    Hey guys! Having a hard time connecting my Google Photos Account. I’ve authenticated, deleted and repeated a few times. I get the spinning wheel of death and never see any photos from my GP account. Love the app so far.

    The Aura app for the iPhone makes it easy to add photos to the Aura Frame. The app displays all pictures and videos on your phone and allows you to easily select the ones you want displayed on the frame screen. You can also easily remove photos from the display. As a bonus, once installed you can use the standard iPhone share feature to send photos to the frame.

  • Garbage, completely non-functional sign-in process

    My wife set up our frame and invited me. I made an account, got a verification email, and verified. The app never recognizes that I have accepted an invitation. The “Looking for a frame invite?” link in the app says to look for an email or text; the links in both the text and the subsequent email merely bring up the app with that same screen that says, “Looking for a frame invite?” This sort of thing is a solved problem so this is simply a garbage auth implementation.

    The frame is great, my sister loves it. I don’t have the frame, just the app. The app is just okay. I’ve got a small phone, some photos people upload are large group photos. Please for the love of all that is good in the world let me pinch to zoom in to photos in the app so I can actually see faces and details.

    The idea of this product is good but the app is just terrible. The sync does not work with iOS and it is basically impossible to handle different albums or manage a larger number (>100) of photos. Very disappointing.

    Literally can’t stay on it for more than 4 seconds without it crashing. Update this asap or I’ll be returning all of my aura items before the return window closes.

    What a wonderful way to review moments from your life, or your work (mine is making art) and sharing with friends who also own a frame, and have them contribute to mine. Truly wonderful and discovered by chance when I was cleaning my neighbors garage. It was in a pile, abandoned for years, a gift from his adult children, loaded with photos, my neighbor didn’t know how to run it, so it was left to sit until I discovered it. I took it to them at the retirement home where they now live and turned it on, and watched them as they watched for the first time. What a wonderful moment.
