Ava Everett, tired of being ignored by the "good ol boys" club strikes out on her own. Coming home to Kona, Hawaii to set up Everrett Architectural Designs seemed like a good idea at the time. Now she just needs work. Forrest John Maplewood, CEO and President of FJM Global (one of the largest development and international construction companies in the world) is headed, reluctantly, to Kona Hawaii for to celebrate his sister Magnolia's birthday. Introduced on Kona as Magnolia's brother John, no one knows who he really is and he kind of likes it. What he likes even more is his attraction to Ava. How is he going to tell her who he is when her designs win a contract with his construction company? And why is Maile (mama to the Everrett clan and their friends), a known matchmaker, not trying to set up her daughter, Ava with the new arrival John? She is doing her best to keep them apart!
Welcome back to Kona, Hawaii and all our friends at the Big Dive Shop. If you haven't read any of the other Aloha stories that's okay, start with this one and you will be hooked. This is a wonderful "sweet and clean" story with just enough "heat" to make you smile. The story lines ( there are a few) are well thought out, the characters are well defined. The writing gives you the "visual" needed to "see" the story as it unfolds. This is book six in the Aloha series, however when reading it you don't feel like you have missed something. Chris does a wonderful job "introducing" each character as if for the first time in this book.
Jump right in and join the Aloha family. You'll be glad you did.
