Love me some Sundown!

I had a hard time getting into this story and for the first time ever, didn't really like the heroine. In fact, I was sort of hoping someone would kill her off and Jess would meet someone else. She eventually grew on me a bit but the chemistry between her and Jess seemed forced. Maybe with more character development it would have felt more organic, like previous novels in the series. This one is forgettable so only buy it if it's on sale.

First time reading a book on my new iPad and dear god the woman has done it again!!! Loved it:)

I absolutely love this series! Sherrilyn Kenyon is an amazing author. Ever since the "Twilight Saga" I had been reading other "teen" appropriate sci-fi books and thought they were great. Then I stumbled upon "Fantasy Lover" and discovered a whole other world for adults in that genre and now I'm hooked! I really hope there will be more to come in this series specifically. Keep that mind working Sherrilyn! I hope you will gift us with a couple more of the "Dark Hunter" stories.

I can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I am in this book. Waited so long....& I just couldn't get into it at all. Took me over a week to read - truly a 1st for me with a new Kenyon Book! Indian gods...HUH?!? Um...what about the Greeks? She threw in Sumerians...fine...but now Cherokee Indian ones? Too many different directions & not enough substance. It seemed there was no dialog - just constant ANNOYING Sarcasm! I miss her earlier writing - now THOSE were fantastic books. Gave it 3 stars for the "Bonus Scene" in the end...NOT for Retribution. The "heroin" was killing off Dark Hunters for crying out loud! And NOTHING?!? Ugh! Save your $12.99 - so not worth it...

Truly lost myself in this book. Sherrilyn is a great writer. I've awaited each new book eagerly. I know that the characters she has written about could go on and on. I hope she never stops writing!

i loved it and the story was very different....i can feel all the changes the DH world is having.... i deff cant wait for the next book!!!

Another great book from the dark hunter series. Sherrilyn Kenyon makes more than just a romance novel she makes a thrill ride. The bonus scene at the end makes this book even more special. After every book you are always wanting more just as this one does. Sundown was a story I have waited for since reading night pleasures and then wanted even more after dance with a devil. Happy to see many of my favorite characters again in this one.
