It’s Dex and Emily’s turn to tell their story. Their past is filled with heartache but in this story AJL weaves a true love story between her hero and heroine. As with any of AJL’s book her characters have so much to say that she is forced to break their love story into two books. I enjoy the break to reread again and discover any missed parts. I also enjoy joining the FB page where the many “Easter eggs” she leaves are pondered for future stories. We also get to visit with the other characters in this series. Job well done Autumn Jones Lake! I’m looking forward to May!

This book about Dex & Emily is so well written it draws you in and keeps you on edge. Getting in site to Dex’s life journey is both heartbreaking and intriguing. Emily is just so perfect to bring out the best in Dex. Knowing his life has been marred with such tragedy it’s comforting to know that Emily can help him heal plus him helping her too learn to trust someone else.
