I love Dunk and Egg.

I think Egg is a smart, capable, witty young boy. Dunk is a good knight too. I love Westeros and its many colorful characters. They are like old friends.
My favorite of GRRM’s stories.

The tales of Dunk and Egg are just what the title says. There are no dragons, white walkers or huge battles, just a hedge knight and his squire having adventures in a pre Song of Ice and Fire/ Game of Thrones Westeros.
Enticing

Enjoyed it thoroughly a captivating romp round Westeros with knight and squire who are honorable and lovingly imperfect protagonists
Would highly recommend this to you
Gives good view of times before GOT and after HOD
Fantastic adjacent to the Westeros Story

I picked this book up and could not put it down. Although different style in story telling focusing on only one story than his other works, it kept me thoroughly entertained and I found myself unable to put it down. By far one of my favorites of Martin
Excellent stories

A century before GOT there was Dunk and Egg. Duncan the Tall is a young hedge knight of lowly birth and Egg, who is a preternaturally smart child is his Squire with a secret, make for an odd but endearing pair. The simple but haunting illustrations by Gary Gianni are an added delight.
Amazing and Fun adventure

Different take on some of the characters that we really don’t read to much about, and insight about before the Game of Thrones
Hard to put down
