Sometimes engagement rings can get lost and then found. Sometimes people can too. All it takes is a heavy-duty dose of karma and the magic of Manhattan to make it all come together.

Leah is a financially destitute new age hippy. James is a wealthy surgeon with a trust fund. She's awkward, he's poised. She's completely crazy, he's way too sane. People might say they have nothing in common, but they'd be wrong. They both live in Manhattan, they both have no idea how to change a baby diaper, and they're both lost … until they find one another.

A message from Elle about this series: I’d never been to New York City before, but I knew I would love it and wanted to write a story that was set in the most exciting city in the world. So I hopped on a plane with my friend Susan and spent 5 whirlwind days there, soaking up the culture, seeing the sights and nailing down the scenes that would eventually end up in this series. Those of you familiar with New York City know what I’m talking about when I say you just can’t beat Russ and Daughters’ bagels, Central Park, Times Square, Brooklyn, and Yonnah Schimmels’ knishes.

About the author: Elle Casey, a former attorney and teacher, is a NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY bestselling American author who lives in France with her husband, three kids, and a number of furry friends. She has written books in several genres and publishes an average of one full-length novel per month.

A hippie woman and a successful Manhattan doctor start to bump into each other in populous Manhattan. Silly encounters proceed at a snail’s pace. Towards the end the plot picks up with some weird twists ending abruptly. An unbelievable and not amusing storyline.

This was one of the most entertaining books I have ever read! There were definitely serious parts, but most of the book had me laughing out loud. Anxious to read the next two books in the series.

This was a story that was entertaining and enchanting. If on.y life could be like this. It was a little quirky and I found I couldn’t put it down.

The story was too boring and foolish to read past a quarter of the book.

I really enjoyed this author. It's my first book from her. The humor is fantastic. The characters are quirky and lovable. The story itself is interesting and as quirky as the characters. This would not likely happen in real life, but as a romance, it works for me! I'll be looking for more from this author.

I have never laughed while reading as I did with this story. Well thought out quirky character (check), impossibly hilarious situations (check), well thought out plot line (check). I have never written a review before. There was no way I couldn’t for this one.
