Loved seeing Ray Liotta and some of the acting was good story was weak could have been so much better just watched on HBO

Talk about wondering what went wrong? From the non sensical characters, to the inability to focus on one main character, to reshooting scenes that were already shown. This is a disgrace to the Sopranos

This is not a movie about a young Tony Soprano - the character is there, but he’s not the focus. It’s a good flick if you just watch it without huge expectations regarding the series…..and if you are a fan, you must see it just to watch Michael Gandolfini play his father.

Would have been better to rewatch old episodes

Audience got this one wrong. I thought the movie was great, and well written. Great performances from everybody, including Michael Gandolfini. Scenes disjointed I could definitely see, but to me it felt like the movie played like the original tv show with scene transitions. The movie took design elements from actual historical elements in Newark in 1967 and it was refreshing to see how this meshed with the storyline. Wasn’t political at all. I could watch this again and I’m glad I purchased this. Needs a sequel.

I’m a huge fan of Sopranos & mafia movies in general … This movie was completely disjointed from the tv series. A lot of things felt forced and out of place, and some things were completely unnecessary. You could tell this was written half heartedly, and put together solely for the money it would generate, and completely lacked the soul of what made the tv show so good.

I’m a huge fan of the sopranos series by David Chase. Unfortunately the movie was extremely slow, and overly political. The acting was great overall tho.

We really liked this movie. Just a little prequel to the Sopranos. Nothing ever happens like you’d think with the Sopranos.
