  • Excellent cast but slow moving

An excellent cast of actors but a slow moving film. I am a fan of John Le Carre but I was not particularly impressed by this plot.Too much time spent on the emotions of the characters to the detriment of a gripping, exciting story.
  • Very Good Film with Horrible Audio

I loved the acting of all the actors and actresses, and the story was intriguing enough for me to purchase it. In other words, this is a very god film (for mature audiences who enjoys well crafted British dramas). But the audio was horrible as if it were mixed and mastered by a complete amateur or tone deaf. So I had to constantly turn up the volume when I couldn't hear the dialogues and then turn up when it was too loud while I was watching it. Then there was this huge burst of digital noise once in the middle of the film that should have been taken out even for a home production. It's amazing that a production like this has reached the sales at iTunes Store, but my guess is that nobody has ever checked the quality of the entire film. What a waste of an excellent film.

This John Le Carre story is great. I have seen it so many times I can speak the line that is coming up next. Wonderful characters and a great plot. Can be watched over and over - the dialog is perfect. The music, which is powerful and mesmerizing makes the movie.
