This was the most absolute best horse movie I as a child have ever seen the thrilling black stallion that no one could catch. Such am Inspiring movie I actually started my passion for horses because of this old western movie.!

I saw this on TV I think when I was young. I really liked it . A modern day cowboy movie set around the 40's. I very nice message of a relationship between man and a horse. Soulmates you could argue. A must for any horse owner or anyone who loves their pets. On a side note this was also when I was introduced to Hoyt Axton. He does a brilliant job of singing and how NOT to deal with a horse.

As a little girl I watched this on a TV to Betamax recording...maybe 20 times. For a girl who loves horses it was a real treat, like National Velvet or Thunderhead, Son of Flicka. Thrilled to have found this again after over 25 yrs!
