Apple needs to lower the price on this movie. This movie has been out for 30 years and it shouldn't be more than some of the newer movies. That being said, I love this movie and highly recommend everyone see it. I will buy it when Itunes puts it on sale for less than $10.

Good, but why the hell do you have to make a scene of a old woman getting killed by a spider while watching “Wheel of fortune”?

This is probably why people are scared to death of spiders. Jaws made you fear the ocean. Arachnophobia will make you fear everywhere imaginable.

Arachnophobia is probably amongst the best of horror/thriller genre. It's not a film everybody would like. It's a film of true experience and not of fantasy. The Plot untangles it's web like a mystery film, and all comes down to a pulse pounding nightmare since "Poltergeist". Spielberg and Marshall team up as usual to create an intense look at an ordinary spider in a town. Frank Marshall directs an awesome edge of your seat thriller you should not miss! This is Amblin Entertainment at the best!!!

I hate spiders, all those legs and they move so fast!! However I love this movie. It's just enough to be creepy but is funny too.

What Psycho did for showers, this movie does for spiders. I never was scared of spiders till I saw this movie. The movie shows almost every scenario where one could be bitten by a spider, every little daily activity one partakes of and somewhere just outside of sight there's a spider waiting to creep up and sink it's fangs in. Great movie that scarred me for life.

I remember seeing this when I was younger. I've always had Arachniphobia and still get paralyzed when I'm extremely close to one. This movie is definitely scary if ur like me. I got so paranoid after watching it too. I always have to check my shoes before I put them on, or examine my lampshade before turning it off.

This movie is awesome, and my personal favorite. Although people who suffer from real-life arachnophobia may classify this as a horror film due to its extensive portrayal of spiders in a threatening way, I prefer to think of this movie as more of an adventure or comedy. I love spiders, so I cannot say I was particularly terrified by the Amazonian killer tarantula-House spider hybrid, but I do appreciate the sense of adventure as a doctor learns of what is killing his patients and sets out to exterminate them. I also got a laugh or two or three out of the movie, particularly from John Goodman, who plays the bold exterminator who takes his job very seriously. All in all, this movie is nearly perfect in every aspect.
