I saw this movie in Manhattan Beach CA in 1971, in a theater on the beach, as close to the movie setting as reality could be. I remember the extreme titillation as a college student anticipating seeing the movie. Telley Savalas’ Kojak character originated in this movie in all but name, including sucking the tootsie roll pop. Vadim’s movies are all odd. While the movie has a strange plot, the cast is having great fun and their enthusiasm comes through in all their performances. And of course the high school girls were deliciously desirable and desiring, perfect Vadim. A very fun movie.

I came across this movie about 10 years ago on VHS and was surprised to find so many stars packed into a movie I'd never heard of. Unfortunately this version from itunes isn't of great quality, matter of fact my VHS tape is of better quality, but it is worth a rental if you've never seen it before. This one needs to be released in HD.
