I read the books and watched the cartoon way before the 3D movie came out. I'm glad that they are making tintin more well known. I love the adventure and excitement in all 3, the books, cartoon, and movie. If you have watched tintin, and you really like it, I suggest that you get some of the tintin books.

I grew up reading the Adventures of Tintin; it is great to see the cartoons now. Wish all the books were available.

I actually have most of these books and they are GREAT. They are pretty funny and fll of adventure. The movie kind of whacked up the story line but tis was cool all the same.
  • This is a must see for fans (and non-fans!) of the Spielberg film!

It is really fun to check out this original movie that obviously is much closer to the comic book. This version is definitely the best of all the original (2D) animated versions probably because it was made more recently than the other ones I checked on iTunes although "Shark Lake" and "Prisoners of the Sun" (hopefully soon directed by Peter Jackson?) still remain other favorites!
