The most iconic and truly memorable movie of the entire Bigfoot genre…. A movie so good that decades after its release not only is it part of the lexicon and fabric of American culture…. But it has not aged a bit. It’s time for this gem to be rediscovered by a new generation.

I really like this movie and I remember watching it when I was younger. Turns out, you might want to reconsider before sitting down with your own kids to watch this movie. There is quite a bit of profanity that I did not recall being a problem when I watched it many years before. Just something to consider before bundling up on the couch with your kiddos for a family movie (age dependent). Adults and children use profanity in this movie, we had to stop watching about 10 mins into it.

I saw this again for the first time in a very long time and was pleasantly surprised. Very entertaining, funny, and heart warming. I would not recommend this for very young children, as there is quite a bit of foul language used in humorous situations. Some of the scenes with Harry, etc may be intense or scary, but overall he is a gentle and lovable beast. Rick Baker was and always will be one of the best creature effects/makeup artists in the movie business and is such a refreshing relief in a world full of films dominated by CGI.

I still remember walking into West Coast Video store and seeing this cardboard cutout. This movie was so funny I rented it twice and now thanks to iTunes I can buy it and watch it all over again and laugh
