I loved it, I would watch it again. Highly recommended. I added it to my top 4 . The others are: Pride & Prejudice 2005 Ever After (1998) starring Drew Barrymore Count of Monte Cristo (2002) Belle (2013)

I loved this movie. Such a great story.

I cannot believe I kept pushing off watching this movie... 🤦🏽‍♀️. I truly loved all the characters and of course John Davinier/Sam Reid 😍. The story is truly an important one in the history of slavery/Britain. Strong performances from the cast,lovely costumes, passionate and driven characters! I am tired of seeing weak female leads, Gugu was phenomenal❤️

Incredible cast, beautifully filmed. This is an exceptional film. You will love it on every level.

This was a wonderful true story that told the story of slavery in Britain during the 1700’s. While telling that story it told the true story of a young woman born of a white father and a black mother and raised by white relatives. I felt so many feelings during this movie. It is a wonderful story that should not be missed.

Belle is an outstanding period piece that needed to be made!!! It's story that needed to be told. And it's a film that you won't soon forget. Great casting, acting, sets and costumes! The bottom line is this is a must see movie. Treat yourself!
