I'm sure Fran Dresher is a good person but as an actress she is grating in the extreme. Every time she is on screen I want to run screaming from the room. With any other actress in this role it would have been great. Genevieve Bujold, Marilyn Hassett or Jenny Agutter would have made this something special.
