I love this anime, and for it's intricate storyline and beautiful artwork, it deserves 5 stars. But since iTunes (as of 12/4/2016) is missing episodes in the storyline (ep's 19,20,22,23), it leaves out key moments. I truly wanted to purchase all of the episodes from Apple, and I hope in the future they make them available. Will change rating once they have uploaded them.

It's the BEST anime of all time and the only ones that remotely compare is Moribito Gaurdian of the Spirit(witch was directed by none other than Kenji Kamiyama) and Code Geass season 1and 2. Thank you Production IG for this great anime!

Ghost in the Shell is all time favorite anime. I hope they make more and continue to make episodes.

There a few things out there I consider to be true works of art. This show is one of those things. The writing, plots, and creation are far better than most tv shows out there. The fact that it blurs the lines between reality and fiction is wonderful. This is, for a lack of a better phrase, a true work of art.

motoko is a rough woman best female ever better than lois from family guy she's cool but i like motoko as my number one female in cartoons

This show is one of the few animes I've seen that doesn't have really bad plotting, sure it is abit confusing, but at least it's complex and isn't cut and dry. The Laughing Man was the best season of Ghost in the Shell, but this is a nice follow-up that gives anime fanatics a reason to go onto iTunes.

Without a doubt one of the best Animes I have ever watched. The only down side to this series is that on iTunes it's English Dub only. The Dub is actually pretty good for this anime, but I'd prefer the Sub, as that's how I watched the first season. It'd be nice to see a third season, but for now don't miss this one. Here it is folks, THE omg best anime ever. This show has everything you can ask for, Great plot, Amazing characters, Stunning action and the ever growing mystery that lurks in the depths. A must have for the anime lover. 5 Stars: None less
