  • The Fifth and Final Season in the Fifth Dimension

This television classic still has the ability to terrify us fifty years after it debuted. The fifth season overall may not be as great as some of the earlier seasons, but there are still some great episodes. "Living Doll" is about a girl's talking doll who threatens the girl's stepfather: "My name is Talky Tina, and I'm going to kill you!" "Number 12 Looks Just Like You" is about a future where teenage girls are required undergo a procedure to make them look "beautifully" identical to everyone else. "Nighmare At 20,000 Feet" stars a pre-"Star Trek" William Shatner as an airplane passenger who tries to warn the crew about a gremlin he saw on the wing of the plane. These are just a few of the highlights that await you in "The Twilight Zone."

After going through all 5 series of The Twilight Zone, I can honestly say that The Twilight Zone really does bring you to the middle ground between light and shadow, and science and superstition. It brings you all of the possibilities of human life being wrapped up in an area of confusion and unusual circumstances, and spits out an ending that is thorught-provoking and that leaves you with a feeling of almost wanting more. I love this series, and Rod Serling did an incredible job. To anyone who has never pressed PLAY to watch this series, that is definitely something to put on your bucket list. :)
