Sleepy Hollow, Season 2

Season Two has started to show ads in the episodes. I don’t pay money to watch ads. First they will put a few in at the beginning and end, slowly they will increase the number of ads as customers tolerate it. So don’t tolerate it.

loved the first season and a half. not buying the sudden change in tempo or the way the characters are getting altered. I figure I’ll give the next season two eps to show me if this is going to stay a strong show or has already failed. plots are way to formulaic and unbelievable, even for a show with the headless Horseman of Death.

This take on Irving's story about Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman is a creepy, fun show with inclusion of and while the bulk of the filming is on a lot or in North Carolina, enough of the shots (aerial of the Hudson at the Tappan Zee bridge mostly, with some street views and the S. Nyack Boardwalk across the river from Tarrytown (which is south of Sleepy Hollow and Ossining). Plenty of puns abound throughout and funny and interesting inclusions of Greek mythology, the Masons and witchcraft aiding the American Revolution. Love the chemistry between Ichabod and Abbie! Great cast with good chemistry. The story is evolving nicely and I always look forward to what the next episode will bring.

It’s refreshing to see a show develop like this. Each show brings in more of the plot, connecting story arcs and remaining true to its core premise. The acting remains consistently first class—each member of the core ensemble synergistically supporting the work of the others. At first I didn’t know if I could except the on-going broadening of the original story. However, Sleepy Hollow being the center to the Apocalypse, and the various antagonists and protagonists engaged in a larger struggle than a mere property inheritance works superbly well to explain motivations. The addition of (almost) believable (and very interesting) Masonic and esoteric lore, magical weapons, and now the inclusion of other mythologies, is both entertaining and intelligently done! Production quality continued to improve (we can only suspect through increasing sales and advertising revenue). with sets and special effects continually surprising and enhancing each episode. Genuinely entertaining, well written romp through time and history with something for the whole family, you’ve got to like this show! We’ll continue to happily shell out for this production, and give it our highest recommendations. Haven’t had so much fun since my last life!

This season is better compared to last season, this show is great

Tom Mison is excellent as Crane! The writers give him great lines and the entire cast has great chemistry. SOOO happy to see Matt Barr joined the show!!! A wonderful addition - hope to see a lot more of him.
