  • APPLE RIP OFF....

Re-purchased this because it was Mastered for iTunes. Now the MFI (blue sticker) has been removed so I now own two versions that are non-MFI. Anyone feel cheated?

i’ll keep it brief: this is album is fantastic, and when compared to modern music, a total delight to indulge in. “age of consent” is absolutely one of their best songs. it’s more intriguing and addictive than the standard go-to “blue monday”, and a great demonstration of the talent new order holds, especially after having to rebuild after the death of ian curtis/joy division.

We danced to NO at The World, at Heaven, the Roxy--we even danced in the hills of Mykonos with tears streaming--no matter where, no matter when, no matter what trickle down, narrow minded, love forsaken messed up death tragedy was happening, this music digs down into your monkey mind and brings your body to life in a sparkling dazzling soul lifting ecstasy of motion. You and me riding the music like an unstoppable force of nature. A Victory.

I was probably 19 when I first heard what has got to be one of the best laid out tracks I've ever heard! Year was 95 at Tower records in MP CA and this song was playing. I've never heard it before and I was forever changed by this experience. It instantly sent chills deep in my heart and soul. I waited patiently until its final moments and went and asked the clerk who and what song it was. I had a feeling and I knew it was New Order...the rest is history, I became a follower of everything NewOrder!!!

I’ve been listening to this album for a while, four months in fact, and its only now that I’m looking for more to listen. I’d recommend listening to Age of Consent, Stand by Me, The Village or Your Silent Face, they’re the ones I like. The artwork is pretty amazing. I only got disappointed that Blue Monday or The Beach are on here, but the album is still satisfying
  • Blue Monday….

I think The Beach and Blue Monday only appeared on the American issued record. Everybody else on the planet got this one. Blue Monday, I think, was the biggest selling 12” of all time and it looks like iTunes is happy to keep it there.
  • Not the whole album

Why isn't Blue Monday on here? Or The Beach? It seems like other songs are missing as well. It's not Power, Corruption and Lies if it's not complete!
  • HOW ARE THERE NO REVIEWS??
