    AWS tackles ambitious arrangement projects once again. last time it was Aphex Twin, this time they go for the jugular with The Beatles’ left-field Revolution 9, and Varese’s Poème électronique, one of the great Musique Concrete works of the ‘50s. coupled with recent AWS commissions (Wolfgang Rihm’s a particular highlight) and you have a solid package that takes a stab at universalizing modernism.
