Yellowcard

Amazing album with powerful lyrics!

Yellowcard is unique because they seem to not follow what their fans want. That's exactly what music should be. Artists shouldn't be bound to what their fans want. When I first listened to this album it gave me the chills because of how beautiful the strings sounded. Overall I thought this album was melodically pleasing. Thank you for sharing us your music and you will be missed.

I Just want to say thank you Yellowcard for an amazing 20 year run. I didn't expect Yellowcard to break up and to be honest, I was shocked when you guys announced I. I expected Yellowcard to last 30 years or more as a band. I started listening to you guys in early 2012 and I was about to start 8th grade. You guys have inspired me with your music and I think you guys are the best Pop Punk band I've ever listened to. My first album was Ocean Avenue. The albums I enjoed the most is Ocean Avenue, Lights and Sounds, Paper Walls, When You're Through Thinking say yes, and Southern Air. When you guys released Lift a Sail back in 2014, I wasn't very proud. This album I am proud of and I appreciate it. I wish you guys the best and I hope you guys continue making music for the rest of your lifes. I wll never for get you guys. Farewell Yellowcard.

I have loved Yellowcard since I furst heard ocean avenue. With every album it seems they get better and better. Although their new drummer brings a different sound to their music they make it work. I love how their music morphs and changes but still remains the same. Also, I especially like how their lyrincs are clean and positive! Thanks Yellowcard!I look forward to future albums.

I still cry with joy listening to this

This album was made for the fans and for that I say thank you Yellowcard for giving the fans a proper farewell and calling it quits on a high note. Thank you for 20 years of music that has gotten many people through difficult times. This album is everything I could have asked for from a final album.

I was hoping after the last album that they would return to the fast and punkish sounds from ocean avenue and paper walls… but they kept it dialed down… seems too depressing to be their final send off. I would have figured them to be going out with a roar with songs similar to the takedown. But if i had to guess, they kept it saddened and dark to show their audience how they feel about retiring the band. best wishes guys.

After digesting this album for a few weeks, I can say my original reception of the album is still with me. It is in no way a bad album, but this is not the Yellowcard that consistantly delivered greatness throughout my life. Final albums usually hit sad notes, but this was a little too much. They lost an energy that defined the band for me, and it seemed to have left when LP3 did. Still, I got nothing but love for these guys. It isn't easy to see them go but I wish them the best!

Yellowcard is a band that will always be remembered, They have helped me a lot and I am forever grateful for their music. This is the music I will play to my kids and they will hopefully do the same. 10 bucks for an album that will change your life. Don't think twice about it.
