Boston may be the place he calls his home, but the love for his music is global. Ego and the Enemy is M Dot's debut album. It makes it very apparent that he is on a mission. That mission, to show not only is he a force to be reckoned with, but one that isn't going anywhere soon. Ego and the Enemy is honestly a throwback to that golden era hip hop sound. It combines M Dot's superior lyrical prowess, with production from some of hip hops most acclaimed producers. The album has production from the likes of Marco Polo, Hi-Tek, Buckwild (D.I.T.C), Khrysis, Marley Marl, and Large Professor (among many others). It offers the listener a chance to accompany M Dot down a road far often less traveled then his fellow contemporaries. From start to finish the listener will be captivated by the vivid imagery that M Dot so elegantly articulates. With a track list that will be sure to entice any hip hop lover, it's important to emphasize that the quality behind this project is top notch. He has been patiently waiting for the right time to finally bring the listeners the album we all deserve. In a day and age where many artist are putting out album after album, its special to see someone work so hard to make his debut everything he hoped it would be. It's easy to see that this album in many ways is M Dots baby. The craftsmanship that went into making this album alone, makes it worth buying. Now add to that an All-Star production lineup with features from the likes of Method Man! Together you have a 17 track master piece, one that is a must have for any true hip hop head. PUT IT THIS WAY, it's got METHOD MANs co-sign. . .I think that's enough said!!!! SUPPORT REAL HIP HOP!!!!
