Groundhog Day The Musical (Original Broadway Cast Recording)

Wasn’t to interested in seeing this show, but afterwasrd, WOW! The staging was freaking incredible, what with the interactions with all the different turntables and intricate coreography, just incredible! The songs while on the more mellow side, worked great in the show with plenty of nuance and double entandre, all the while building on itself to tell a different version of the same story each GROUNDHOG DAY. Top Notch!

I loved the movie and was nervous when i went to the musical no need it was fantastic any karl crushed it as the time trapped weatherman they changed the story enough from the movie to make it BETTER and the songs were much better than the songs in mathilda in my opinion note to itunes notes" Tim minchin DID NOT win a Tony for Mathilda, Kinky Boots Cyndi Lauper won for best score

The show was amazing and the soundtrack will make you laugh so hard. Best song is "Stuck"

This was the best broadway I have ever seen if anyone is thinking about going to this musical I strongly suggest. 😘😘❤️😍😍

Saw the show May 16 2017. Great adapation of the film. The sets and choreography were top notch. Not every song is super memorable, but that's standard for most shows. 'Night Will Come' is the hidden gem - just beautiful.

Tim Minchin's a genius - he never disappoints. So, so good.

I've been excitedly anticipating this album since I heard Tim Minchin's rendition of "Seeing You" at a live show a few years ago. I have to say, it exceeds even my highest expectations! This album is full of witty lyrics and singable tunes. WARNING: The orchestral scores and choral melodies may make you cry in public... in a good way. It is unfortunately going to be awhile before I can see the show live, but I'm very excited to have the cast album to tide me over until then. I absolutely recommend this album for anyone who... actually, just anyone.

Absolutely adore this show and the music! Have already seen it twice and want to go again! The album is fantastic! Tim Minchin scores again! Also, the heroic Andy Karl is also incredible! Love it all!

I was so pleasantly surprised by the Broadway adaption of the movie! It was absolutely wonderful, moving, with terrific music and an awesome cast.
