  • Fantastic album!

Lara Fabian finally releases an album that sounds quite modern as opposed to "easy listening". Not her most vocally spectacular album, but one with some of her best lyrics ever; they talk about overcoming dark feelings, optimism, accepting yourself and daring to love without fear. For me listening to this album has been a cathartic experience.

Lara Fabian, one of a kind. More than singing beautifully Lara Fabian tells the story of all her songs and this is something that a few can do. This English album is not like her first two. Treding on different waters musically, as she has done with these songs, has proven her great talent as a singer and a performer. Thank you Lara for this wonderful English album.
  • Lara Reinvented

Being fluent in French I have followed Lara since her very first album. This album is a real departure from her more dramatic almost classical songs. I still love them, "Choose What You Love" is transitional from what I know and love to a bold new Lara experimenting with electronics. She also sings in a lighter tambre phoenix like rising with the voice of a 20 year old, innocent and pure without a single trace of the darker Madomselle Hyde. It is a total reinvention and I like it a lot!

I have been waiting for a new English album for a very long time. Good things come to those who wait..I am glad I waited. I’ve read some reviews of disappointment, missing the powerful Lara voice we have become accustomed to since I will Love Again. On the contrary, this album shows us new dimensions of Lara’s voice..a more soothing, retrospective and restrained voice that can excite you one minute and put you in a trance the next. A voice doesn’t have to sing loudly or in high ranges to be beautiful or inspiring. Each song is beautiful, finding treasures in each listen. Really appreciate discovering this vulnerable, more subdued and effortless Lara in concert with gorgeous electronic arrangement and timeless melodies. I am counting the days to hear my idol in NYC at the Beacon theatre in February. Thank you, Lara, for your gift and timely experimentation.

A very well produced album for Lara. I love the different layers of her voice that this album explores. Thanks Lara for another musical jewel.
  • Disappointing

I'm a big fan and love Lara's work, but I've been waiting for an English for years and ...this is it? IMHO, not a memorable track among them. Nothing up-lifting. Nothing beyond mid-tempo ballads. Don't get me wrong, this woman can SING! Why, then, pack an album with so many indistinguishable songs? If "I Will Love Again" was such a smash, can't we get something at least similar to that? I was ready to purchase the CD after having a cursory listen, but having now gone through the complete recording a few times via iTunes samples, I'll only purchase one or two singles at most. I know people love her ballads, but this is a grave diappointment to me.
  • Was so looking forward to this but kind of boring
