Harriet Debut Album - channeling Karen Carpenter

There must be a reason Harriet’s singing style is reminiscent of Karen Carpenter’s vocal style. Maybe it’s the multitude of 70’s & 80’s influences. Maybe it’s that aching quality in Harriet’s voice (although in a slightly higher register), that Karen was so adept at. Or maybe Karen was just happily reincarnated, and emerged as another exciting UK singer. Whatever the case, take a listen and see if you hear the same wonderful qualities that transported me back 30-40 years in a really good way. Enjoy!
