As she continues her battle against cancer, Jo Dee Messina has been recording when she can and she has just released her version of this beautiful Christian/Gospel song to Country radio. She released it to Country radio because, as she recently told People.com, ''There is someone out there who needs to hear it. I don't care what is current or what is going to be successful but, Country music is my home format. Why not share the message. God is not formatted.''
Wriiten by Cory Asbury, Caleb Culver and Ran Jackson, Jo Dee first heard ''Reckless Love'' in 2017 and watched a version of it on YouTube and was blown away by the song. She said to People ''It resonates with my soul and my spirit, especially, considering as many mistakes that I have made.''
As with anything that Jo Dee has done, she puts her entire self into her performance of ''Reckless Love'' and one cannot help but to feel her pain and her redemption upon listening to this song. It is Jo Dee Messina....Heart on her sleeve honest, real, powerful and incredibly beautiful.
