I've got both Warining albums and the EP. The EP was a bit disapointing since the Youtube videos were heavy metal and the EP was much lighter rock. @1st Century Blood Changed all that. But if you are going for the best of the Warning so far then this is the one. Listen to the bass intro by Ale, then the crashing drums of Pau and the guitar of Dany on the opening track and you'll hear rock, real rock!

Great concept album by an amazing power trio of teenagers who know how to rock! If you like Joan Jett, Pat Benetar or Heart, you’ll love The Warning.

The Warning’s music is so original yet one can hear so many influences from so many genres’ blended together to produce something uniquely captivating! Classic rock, Metal, punk, even some (good) pop. It’s been decades since I’ve been so blown away by a band. I listened to QOTMS straight through, then again, and again. Amazing and couldn’t believe that the tracks on their first album (XXIst Century Blood) were just as good. These young women deserve a lot more attention than they’ve gotten to date. Looking forward to more from them!

Concept albums sometimes collapse under their own weight. This one doesn’t because almost all the songs work well outside the story. “Dull Knives (Cut Better)” is my favorite and the song the band chose for the (De) Tour performance, and you can hear why. The band draws influences from Metallica among many others, but if you are not a metal fan don’t be deterred as this album doesn’t get trapped in that genre. Pau’s drumming excels as it always has, Dany gets in a lot of good guitar licks and brings out the growing insanity of the “Queen” with her vocals. And turn up the bass, because Ale shows off her steadily growing skills. The Warning draws influences from many rock decades, but “The End” screams “power ballad” to me and the guitar solo could be right out of the ‘80s (Dany’s solos are underrated). Pau really shows off the power of her voice here, she can rock but I can easily envision her on Broadway in time. But just listen, you won’t be disappointed.

These Latinas are the future of Rock! I’m so impressed by their musical abilities...They compose their own music, to include their amazing lyrics. Dust to Dust is probably my favorite song this decade...I love the bass intro, the steady beat of the drums throughout, the lead guitar riffs, and the primal wailing at the end. Can’t wait to see them live on tour... “You are warned!”

What can be said about QOTMS that hasn't been said by these other reviews. I'm Absolutely Speechless! My jaw felt like it was on the floor throught playing this from beginning to end by The Warning! The drumming power & technique of Pou and her lead vocal on 'Dust To Dust" & "The End (Stars Always Seem To Fade)" was incredible. The deep sounding thunder of Ale on bass and her backing harmony vocal on "The Sacrifice" & "The One" was amazing! And the riveting guitar work by Dany on "Ugh" & "Red Hands Never Fade" floored me. Her lead vocal throught most of QOTMS, especially on the album title, was extremely remarkable. This band has talent beyond belief, and it will only get better, due to the fact when this album was released, Dany, Pau & Ale were 18, 16 & 13 respectively. I believe The Warning will be around for a long time to come.

A month ago I came across one of the The Warnings youtube videos and as soon as the first note was played I thought they were a band from the 90s or so because I believe that's the last time you could hear the words of a song, the smashing of the drums, the way a guitar and bass was played in the 70s and before I believed Rock and Roll died with the yelling and screaming. Every youtube video The Warning keeps getting stronger, better, coming into your own. I watched a youtube video where you stated you have turned down many offers to have people help change you make your sound better and you told them no. Maybe not today or even tomorrow but with your sound you're going to step out on stage one day and say "this is our time". I hope you stay true as sisters, I hope you never change your style, your band name is great and I'll do my part and keep buying your songs and support you by telling others "listen to these guys". Good luck to "The Warning".

This is the first time in almost 60 years of listening to rock that I’ve gotten this pumped about a new band. The Warning goes from strength to strength as musicians and songwriters!
