Chris Youlden and Kim Simmonds hit their stride here. There are a lot of strong songs that stick with you, a lot of good playing and a lot of great singing. As the apple reviewer notes, yes, you can hear that Youlden is influenced by Muddy Waters and Ray Charles, but really, so what? So is everyone else. Simmonds here definitely hits the mark with some great lead playing. Overall, very much worth having and listening to repeatedly.
