As a fan of the original, this is a big compliment: Inaya Day's remake is better. Everything that has an Inaya Day vocal is excellent; The Glamorous Life is no exception. Inaya imbues funk, fun, and Diva-soul into everything she does. I bought three versions, all are great. I recommend doing a power search with Inaya in the artist field, check out all of her vocal work. She is the reigning queen of the dance vocal.

Sorry but this can't touch the original.....some songs you just should not remake.

There's not a freakin' ounce of "glamour" about this remix---I have a feeling Sheila E concurs. This "rendition" belongs in WalMart's Music Store where taste in Music is Always Crap, Always!!!

  • Weak version

Weak vocals and arrangement leave this remake a typical ho-hum dance track. Nothing positive to say about this rendition.
