This and Dirty Dancings soundtrack are the 2 best soundtracks to ever ever EVER exist. I was born in 1985 so my generation may or may not be too keen on the other soundtrack. But certainly anyone my age can find songs they like on this one! I like every song front to back on this album. It could not be anymore perfect! Shoutout to whoever selected these songs - I bow to you!

Baz Luhrmann really knows how to pick em. Every time I hear this album it brings me back to a simpler time and young love. Great representation of the 90s!
Soundtrack of an era

Best soundtrack ever made. They literally don't make albums like this anymore. Every song is iconic. #1 Crush is arguably Garbage's best song. "Mercy, mercy, I'm made of cards. Make me a suit so I can get it off", and "baby's breath and rubbed gloves" are lines permanently embedded in my psyche. I don't know anyone my age that wasn't intensely into this album.
