I love, love this slower rendition. The audition and the finale songs had their own intensity. But this version allows me to play it many times, feel the emotion, remember my own parents and other family, without gut-wrenching emotion. Purchased it, play it daily. Love this. Thank you.

Either artist can do no wrong however this cover (although beautiful) could have been so much better without the background singers and if it was unplugged similar to Iam’s initial audition which was gut wrenching. The song seems to be a bit slower as well. Regardless I’ll still purchase to support both of these amazing talents.

I listened to Iam’s American Idol version of this song dozens of times and and didn’t think it was possible to replicate the raw emotions you hear in that version, but I was wrong, this is so beautiful, it totally blew me away. I can’t what to hear what he does next.
