Played it tonight for the first time in a long time- still kicks but. Was never what you might call a Liza fan, but this gutsy effort made me an instant fan. Love this album!

Liza’s over the top vibrato and the Pet Shop Boys penchant for dialing divas work well on this collab. There was for a moment available a remaster of this cd with sought after extended mixes of Losing My Mind, Don’t Drop Bombs and Love Pains as bonus tracks. I wish that remaster even if the extended versions were missing was here for this issue cries out for improved sound quality.

It would be a fallacy to say this is the disco album that Judy never got to record. Liza makes this album her own and I wish she would have revisited this style later in her career. I got the cassette when the album was released...I was 8. I still listen to this album at 32 years old and it doesn't get old; Liza's vocals are flawless while being extremely expressive all at once. PSB's production is classic 80's dance that they helped to cultivate during that era of pop/rock. This album is not only an exceptional yet refreshing anomaly to Liza's career, it is a unique oeuvre within the entire decade. It will definitely stand out in pop music history.

This has to be one of my favorites of all time! Liza and the PSB!! It doesn't get better unless you want her album Tropical Nights... Put on either, spray on some Halston and let the party begin...

  • The "review" misses the gold

The official iTunes "Review" misses the biggest thing on this album and probably one of the biggest things of this time in Liza's career - So Sorry , I Said. WOW. What an amazing song, with a stunning video. Liza cuts through all the "electronica" that the review complains about and shows us why she is the star we all know. She knocks that track out of the park, giving it a life that the PSBs could only have hoped for. I lived in London during the time that Results was released. It captured the atmosphere of those days in a way that complimented what the PSBs were doing with their own work. To call it a PSB album is totally miss the point and does not do this work justice. Listen to "Tonight is Forever" and make you're own mind up. Liza - You rocked it Darlin'

Ok, so I am NOT a Liza fan in general. However, when this album was released and the few dance singles were broadcast in clubs I was hooked! The album is best played in it's entirety in order as it seems to have a flow that is sheer perfection! To this day, 2011, I STILL play this album religiously. It stays on my IPOD and even whne I change things around I never remove this album and the few mixes that were available. The Pet Shop Boys musical accompaniment suit Liza's voice like no other. Her albums and singing style drive me to drink but somehow with the PSB's in the background she is addictive and soothing. I cannot say enough about it and if you are a PSB fan buy it! If you are a Liza fan, buy it! Don't just pick and choose singles as the story feel of the album is much more enticing and you will grow to love every song and note!
