I remember her (as we all do) from 1993. Her debut LP was so good. My wife and I saw her live with Heart. She played well. It was funny because she told us it was her last night on tour this year because she had to get he son on the school bus tomorrow. 2019? Good sounding LP.

In this day and age of streaming music, it's pretty much just us dinosaurs who even bother with something as quaint as buying their music. So, as a dinosaur that's been listening to this lady for more years than I care to think about, I can tell you she's still Sheryl. If you love her groove, you'll more than likely enjoy this. Yes, this isn't the Globe Sessions or her self-titled and it's a modern-sounding recording (for good or ill,) but it's still instantly recognizably her, and I love what I've heard so far. I'm gonna pre-order... and hope she tours my neck of the woods.
