charli xcx is so innovative with bringing club music back, the singles i’ve heard so far are so catchy and sassy, fully embodying the BRAT persona charli is taking on this era. the lead single, von dutch, brings a lot of thought to the mix: what’s better? being a cult classic or topping the charts? charli is here to tell us she doesn’t care about the charts, just the music. the cover is very bratty in itself, an off putting green with fuzzy text on top. I LOVE IT!!!!!! the cover is the embodiment of minimalism, while the music itself is VERY in your face and daring.. i can’t wait to hear the rest of the songs but i just know they will follow suit. love you charli!
