The first song I heard by Josiah Queen was Garden in Manhattan. I was wowed like I hadn’t been by any song in a long time! Every song I’ve heard has hit me both musically and in meaning depth! I had to preorder this album, I’ve never preordered an album before…and I only own a few. I know I will enjoy listening to this for a long time. It has a modern folk rock sound. It is nicely upbeat AND grittily down to earth. I think the last time I was this excited about a music group it was Storyhill. This is more synthetic than Storyhill, but kind of in that vein.
