Bernie had been begging for a new record for years. This is a Brandi Carlile album with Elton and Bernie as back up. Songs are good, not great. Hopefully a ten song Elton/Bernie record is in the future.
After a few listens. It’s a great record.

Elton and Brandi blend their voices beautifully…you can tell that this was a labor of love. Overproduced? Maybe at times…but who cares. It’s got energy, beauty and joy at every turn. Go Elton…at 78 he’s got musical sensitivities that most 20 year olds in the business today could only hope for…and he bangs that piano in a way that makes that instrument all his. Go ahead, you magnificent icon…over produce yourself and the great gift you have been to this world for almost 60 years. Bring it on!

This is a really sad excuse for a album. The sad thing is a Bernie/ Elton Album would have been way better than this. Brandi who are you going to gto glom onto next stop acting like your golden touch will revive peoples careers and start acting like an idependant musician again. That is your rwheel house. We don't need the Brandi blessing on every older msuicians relevance. Just STOP! Elton is always good and my fave track was the one where he sang solo. Elton you are an amazing musician.
