  • THE essential BOC album

This album defies the common logic that all live albums are a footnote to a band’s musical offerings or career. ETI Live can introduce one to a deeper knowledge/understanding of the BOC songwriting and performance power. I never get tired of this record. BUY IT!

Watched this concert on TV (The Bluejean Network) in 1982 and new I had to buy the album when I saw it in the store. Since then it's been one of my favorite live albums. Veteran of the Psychic Wars is outstanding and you will feel the bass in ETI in your chest. This is best listened to on a stereo at max volume, not with headphones and especially not earbuds.

This album shows the real energy of the band that the studio doesn't capture. The guitar solo on Veteran of psychic wars is without question one of the best i have ever heard. Listen to it going down the road but watch your speed because it will make you want to drive fast. I feel blessed that I grew up in their era.

I waited for this alblum for three months, back in ' 82. I spent $20.00 of hard earned money on it and I will never regret it! This is the best live album BOC ever put out (although On Your Feet or On Your Knees is worth the $).
  • Better Live than in Studio

BOC is one of those rare bands that really show up for a concert. I got this album back in the summer of '82 and has been one of my most listened to LP's over the years. I wore out the vinyl, wore out the cassette that followed, and even wore out the CD. Thank goodness for iTunes! While I was at the concert where Cities on Flame was recorded (New Year's Eve in Upper Darby, PA), my favorites are still Veteran of Psychic Wars and Joan Crawford. This band just gives everything they have for their live performances. If you've tried their studio recordings and liked them, then you will LOVE the live recordings!

Great one for true BOC fans. I had this album back when it came out and it blew me away. Listen to Buck Dharma shred guitar riffs live on stage with one of the most underrated bands of all time.
