This is the BOC album that hooked me right from the start. In my many trips to the record store in town i kept flipping to this one even though I had never heard of them or their music (local radio was not exactly rock friendly). So I bought because of the album cover and cranked up the Marantz. Hooked ever since. From the first cut to the last I always have to play the whole thing, loud. Bucks' Boogie and Cities on Flame, the guitar work is incredible. The vocals and keyboards pull evrything together like being right there at the show...

On Your Feet Or On Your Knees... If you were at any of their shows in the 70's, then you were definitley ON YOUR FEET! Hot Rails to Hell has got to be one of the greatest rock songs ever. Once you start this disc DO NOT touch pause, crank it for it's entirety while flying down the highway. On Your Feet Or On Your Knees, Strangers in the Night, Exit Stage Left, Alive, Made in Japan, Live Bootleg, this is what live shows were like in the 70's. Listen to it LOUD!
  • Still a great album....

For 30+ years this has been my go-to album when I'm having a bad day. Up loud and all-the-way-through. It never fails to make the day better.... The guitar work is unequaled. The back and forth play, the lingering notes....the music hammers along, takes you right to the edge, skitters along the edge and then pulls you back. It runs you down the ramp at full speed, launches you and then leaves you hanging...just when you are about to pass out from holding your breath, you find yourself safely down, off at full speed in another direction. There simply has not been another album like this one in the last 40 years. I've listened to this album 100's of times. Its an epic concert event every time. Highly recommended.

Great band great album. I saw them a least 30 times between 1973-1995. Still my favorite band of all times. I have to agree with BOC Boy. The fact that they're not in the hall of fame proves what a joke it is.

THIS MAY BE ONE OF THE BEST LIVE ALBUMS OF 70'S ROCK YOU'LL EVER HEAR, IT'S SO HOT IT WILL BURN YOUR COMPUTER UP. CITIES ON FLAME WITH ROCK AND ROLL IS MY FAVORITE SONG, BUT THE WHOLE ALBUM IS GREAT. THANKS ROAD LIZARD!

This was the most underrated band of the 70s and this is one of the best live albums ever. It's too bad the Cult never got the credit they deserved. There are a lot worse bands in the R and R Hall of Fame.

This is one of the best live albums in history! BOC was one of those bands that just did their stuff better live than they did in the studio. All of these songs are so kick a*s, you can't just buy singles of them, you HAVE to buy the entire album. Then go into a room all by yourself and CRANK THE S**T OUT OF IT! (forget the neighbors-they will probly like it too).

This is the "Best" Live BOC album available. If you liked early BOC then this is a "Must" have. This is the original line-up, and has some very good production for the time it was recorded. I like "All" of BOCs stuff, mostly the "Mid-section" from Knees to Club Ninja. I teethed my BOC appreciation on this live album. When I listened to the studio versions I felt it lacked the energy and electricity that OYFOYKs had, and was every-bit as good. Some Enchanted Evening is my 2nd fave. Ive just got the other two today, and will enjoy them as well, but not as much as the first two. Im trying to get all of my favorites, but its hard to pick and choose with this band. One of the finest Heavy Rock bands from America. What to do when Godzilla approaches ??? On Your Feet, or on Your Knees !!!

Althought there are several live albums and some great tunes on the others this album is a MUST for Rock Fans. Best Song: Cities On Flame - One one BOC Song/recording EVER. No 2: Last Days of May - incredible guitar solo. No. 3: Subhuman - Incredilble depth of guitars and keynoards, I'd say it defines BOC at their pinacle. No. 4: Seven Screaming Dizbusters - It actually makes you feel like you're at the concert. Get this whole album you will be extremely pleased!
