The last song on the album is fabulous, my favorite from all that she has produced. Too bad it has escaped the masses.

I've been a fan since the early 80's and have been fortunate enough to have not only see Mary Chapin live several times but also the opportunity to have chatted with her numerous times as well. You won't find many artists that stay true to who they are but she is one of them. While anyone else would panic and try to change to fit the latest music trend Mary Chapin has stuck with her voice and what a voice it is. The intelligence in her songs is matched by her tongue in cheek playfulness. On any album she can and will take you on a journey of your own emotions. Listening to any of her albums you'll find yourself laughing and smiling with a light hearted selection only to feel the loss of love with the next track. There are few her equal as a songwriter and her staying power in a business that usually demands hits shows how loyal her fan base is as well. There's just no denying that Mary Chapin Carpenter is one of the best ever. Hopefully she'll never stop.

We have always enjoyed Mary Chapin Carpenter. We lived in Alexandria, VA for over 20 years and listened to her in the local music scene. We went to her concert at Wolf Trap Farm Park as one of our last before we left Virginia - will remember it forever - great concert in a great venue. This is one of her best - such a range of songs, music, and musicians l- all are outstanding. Reminds me every time of the night at Wolf Trap and how much I have enjoyed Mary Chapin over the years. Great album from a great artist - would like to hear and see more from her if that is possible.
