  • Love at first listen

Every single sog he sings is so beautifully done, and his voice is one of the purest I've ever heard. it's like a cool glass of lemonade (great song by the way) in the midst of all these artists who put so many rifts and crazy things in their songs the music is lost. His music and his message are both crystal clear and lovely in this and every other album I've heard thus far, so way to go!

Rice puts out another good, but not quite great, work. I personally don't prefer the more cross-over stuff he chooses for this album. My picks are "The Final Move" and "Sleepyhead Sun".

This album is definatly my favorite although, I love hearing everyone of his songs. His voice is so pure and lovely. He is using the talent that God gave him very well! Francis

Chris Rice's songs have a warm, intimate style and his lyrics range from light and amusing (I think of him as sort of a "Christian Randy Newman") to deeply powerful and meaningful. I like almost everything he's done. In his music, he is down-to-earth living as an everyday Christian. This album is a bit more "subtle" in its gospel message to the previous 4 albums I have from him. Which bring me to... The album reviewer wrote "this is his second album full of real songs" ?!?! Where has that person been? Take a look at Chris' album page here on iTunes.

Chris Rice has done it again with his album "Amusing"... He has a wonderful way of capturing the heart through lyrics that speak of things we daily deal with. "When did you fall in love" captured me first and since first listening I have not stopped ! "Breakfast Table" brings hope to the heart for anyone who has lost a loved one and every song is like this, bringing joy and inspiration to face life head on.
