great music - but the editing on "vein of stars" and "do you realize?" is nothing short of awful. and there's extensive banter at the start of "yeah yeah yeah."
Incomplete Tracks

Yoshimi's incomplete; where if you've seen the Flaming Lips... They cut the song off when Wayne sings the end through a puppet. Vein of Stars is cut off all sloppy... Where in as many times as I've seen them -- I don't know if they're going into a new song or 'Vein of Stars' is just cut off. The 'Do you Realize' track starts in the middle of 'She Don't Use Jelly'. Whoever put this together could have done a much better job. In fact, they should have just released the whole show before hacking it up the way they did.

Being at this show changed my life. I wonder if the whole set was recorded. I would buy that for sure and i bet a lot of other people would as well.

I had seen the video, loved it, and wished I had it to listen to. Then I saw this album available and had to get it. If you like these guys, this is a must-have. Sure, half of track 2 is talk, but the music is great once it starts and it's interesting to know they didn't "mean" it as a protest song.
An oddly edited EP

Just as an FYI, the editing on this leaves a lot to be deisired. For example at the end of Yoshimi, they are obviously starting a new song and it cuts off at an odd point. Vein of Stars does the same thing. Then Do You Realize actually has the last few moments of sing-along (a great tradition btw) of She Don't Use Jelly.
Perhaps my biggest complaint is the Yeah Yeah Yeah song. I can live with the 3+ minute intro (heard at both shows I saw this year) but again, there is a wierd edit at the end.
This EP, if purchased, is a prime candidate for some time edits in your Get Info.

for those of you not lucky enough to experience the flaming lips in person at ACL, I would suggest downloading them live. it was honestly one of the best shows I have ever seen.
