I came across this movie purely by accident and have been captivated by the music since. Only complaint is they cut out the fan snap on Three Little Maids heh

Why does iTunes have just the (very good) soundtrack from this delightful movie? I'd buy the film if iTunes had it.

If you haven't had the extreme pleasure to see or hear this very fine actress/singer perform, you owe yourself a delightful "single malt" (neat) to catch anything you can find recorded, filmed or broadcast that she has enhanced. Bravo!

This is a wonderful movie in it's own right as well as an excellent overview or introduction to Gilbert And Sullivan's memorable music and clever lyrics. The production of their work here is fresh, alive and full of humor. They were the rockstars of their day, a century ago - check this out!

The quality of this film has to be seen to be believed and the music is performed and recorded with such care one can only wish that they recorded all of the operas that are sampled.
