As a huge Krupa fan, I bought this on CD upon its release years back. What a major disappointment. The sound quality is all over the place. It kind of comes and goes in waves. Sometimes you can hear Gene and sometimes he disappears. Sometimes it sounds like it was recorded over a phone line and then run through a meat grinder! Too bad because this was a very good period for Krupa and his small groups.
