I'm usually skeptical about reinventing/re-releasing dancy pop from the 70s and 80s as techno, having been around when the originals were hits. It's one of those things that can succeed wildly... or go horribly wrong. "Leave MY music alone, DJ [instert lame, pseudo-catchy name here]!" Not the case in these remixes (check out the others released with this one, too. Solid dance stuff that actually enhances Stevie's awesome vocals instead of drowning or reverbing them into much like so many other mixers do. Gives her singing the punch-up it deserves, I can see why she released this. And yes, whiners, I bought the original version, too. =^.-=
