Great album, terrible master copy

I can't say enough great things about Chet Atkins and this album. Unfortunately, the master that this iTunes version comes from is absolutely horrendous. For those with technical knowledge, it's got terrible "wow" which makes it sound like a record that's off-center. I've got an original 1961 copy of this on vinyl I was hoping this would replace, but even the scratchy vinyl sounds better than this one. If you don't mind technical flaws, download this one. Otherwise, give it a pass and hope iTunes finds a better master to digitize.

Brings back memories of Christmas past. It's a shame you don't get to hear a lot of this old music anymore on the radio and a lot of good songs & music has been forgotten.
Christmas isn't complete without it!

Not at all "country" in the modern sense...give it a listen and you will be transported to simpler, uncomplicated and blissful times.
(I also recall the other album cover to which the previous reviewer refers.)
Great stuff. Different album cover?

I remember this as one of my dad's few albums. Super stuff, but I remember the album cover having a guitar in front of a pine tree covered in snow.?.?
This is Christmas!

I grew up listening to this on a reel to reel tape player not knowing who it was. I'm so excited to find this. I'm going to share it with all my family this year, so they can relive Christmas memories with me. This music is what Christmas is all about.
