I remember when I first bought this CD and it panned. The problem Tip ran Into was his contemporaries weren't Waka Flaka and other mc's of his ilk.

It's really great to see someone with a good sense of what hip hop is. This album is great, I wish that A Tribe Called Quest was getting back together I think to this day if they were together they would be spitting sick verses

You see a lot of fools reppin or dissin albums without even listening. This was the second hip hop album I ever bough. First was Fugees. This album is going to stand the test of time. It's just as relevant today as it was when released. If you want real hip hop then you gotta buy this. The stuff they call hip hop now just isn't. This music has feeling and emotion. This is a lot more mainstream vs. a Tribe album, but still great. No one can really touch Tribe. Without Tribe you wouldn't see a ton of artists. If you love the Roots you'll love Tribe and if you love Tribe you will mos def love Q-Tip. This album has fresh beats with lyrical content that reigns supreme and untouched. Buy this now if you want to say that you love real hip hop.
