Has anyone had problems with the third movement? For some reason I'm missing about 7 min. of it and I don't know why.

Playing this with a community band. Only doing Gandalf, Lothlorien, and Hobbits but all five are wonderful.

Praise God iTunes finally has de Miji! I have been looking all over the internet for this album. Others either screwed up the time signatures or just performed badly. This one is THE recording to own.

I played Gandalf in our band, it is beautifully written, full of emotion. Great part for the F Horns. This whole album is wonderful to listen to, even if you're not a LOTR fan, and merely just enjoy listening to well-written music. The music really tells a story, and allows to just get wrapped up in it.

I played de Meij's symphony in the orchestra I was currently in about two years ago. I wanted to get the songs, because it is an amazing composition, but iTunes didn't have it. It is about time. Classical music selection is rather limited on iTunes.
  • Love it.
