This one is a Sleeper (and a Keeper!)

I remember when this album was released in the late 1980s; most of us were so used to the rough and macho sound of Teddy that we all but dismissed his new sound, with the exception of the standout cut, "Joy." Well, after listening to this album 21 years later...I have to admit, I SLEPT on this one BIG TIME! This outing is just as solid as any TP album before or after it. It certainly passes the test (You can play the album straight through with no skipping of tracks). Pay particular attention to, "2 a.m.," "Love is the Power," and definitely, "This Is the Last Time." This album will DEFINITELY cause you to rediscover Teddy Pendergrass!
